Eri Mizuno

Administration and Events Coordinator

Eri Mizuno has worked for the past four years as an events coordinator in London. She has assisted in the organisation of food and sake events at the Embassy of Japan, in addition to other events for the Government of Japan in London. She also undertakes research on the Japanese food and restaurant industries in London for JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization).

After graduating from university in Japan, Eri studied in Italy for one year as an exchange student. This encouraged her interest in architecture and interior design, which was very different to her previous experience in Japan.

Eri then worked in the interior design industry, importing fabric and wallpaper and managing showroom staff, sales and planning. Her initial four years in Japan were followed by spells in Hong Kong and Indonesia to gain experience of working overseas.

In addition to her work in food and beverages, Eri continues to work as a freelance interior planner, specialising in soft furnishing such as bespoke curtains and cushions which she designs and makes by hand.
